These Terms govern your use of Pagen, operated by Momentum Apps. By creating an account or publishing an artifact, you agree to them.
Pagen turns Markdown or HTML you provide into a hosted web page that is either public (anyone with the link) or private (gated by a passphrase we email to the recipients you choose).
You may not use Pagen to publish or distribute:
We may remove any artifact and suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.
You retain all ownership of the content you publish. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, render, and display that content solely to provide the service (including serving it to the viewers you designate). On the Free plan, we may add a small "Published with Pagen" attribution footer to your pages; paid plans remove it.
A private artifact is protected by a passphrase, verified server-side against a bcrypt hash. It is not end-to-end encrypted: our servers process the page content to render it, and anyone who has the passphrase can view the page. Do not publish material that requires stronger guarantees than passphrase gating.
Paid plans are sold and billed by Polar, our merchant of record, who handles payment, invoicing, tax, and refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Polar's terms. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard's billing section.
We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" and "as available", without warranty. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Momentum Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of {{JURISDICTION}}, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@pagen.app.
